Watch: Tony Romo quietly inaugurates the Corn Ferry Tour event with Eagle

Tony Romo, as you probably know by now, is a golfer's hack, even if he misses out on the PGA Tour offers.

Romo, 41, has made four starts on the PGA Tour since retiring from the NFL, missing a cut and failing to break 70 in each event. It was recently launched at the Corn Ferry Tour's Price Cutter Charity Championship last July, where he withdrew from a wrist injury.

This week, he is playing in the Corn Ferry Tour event, which means he is still playing with some talented golfers. He got a sponsor's waiver to play in the Variety Bank Championship, and on his first hole in the Texas Rangers Golf Club, he managed to quietly shoot an eagle.

Look at this shot from a couple of angles - he's on top of a small hill and he needs to put in the right amount of speed and he has to get it right, and he does!

A field of 156 players, including 21 of the top 25 players in the Korn Ferry Tour Points standings, will play this week for a total prize of $ 600,000, with the winner cooling off to $ 1,000,000.
