SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -
Stephen Curry scored 37 points and set an NBA record for 3 points a month at 85,
beating the Golden State Warriors 117-113 in the Sacramento Kings on Sunday
night. Û”
Kelly Ober Jr.'s
jumper beat Golden State 112-111 at 1:42 before Richaun Holmes lost a pair of
free throws at 1:25, then Draymond Green scored moments later.
Curry shot 7 out of
21 with 3 more points after the MVP hit his right ankle twice during Friday's
win against Denver, but he didn't take it seriously or it seemed a twist. In
April-November 2019, James Harden's NBA record was 82.
Green spoke of the
Splash Brothers. "The thumb seemed to be the volume of the direction,
literally."
Green had 14 fighters
and 13 fighters helped in the fourth straight home win. It matches the team's
longest-winning series at the Chase Center, where Golden State attracted 3,252
spectators - with 1,935 spectators returning after the game's return on Friday.
Curry even got out of the way.
"It's really
crazy. He hit a couple of tonight, even for that matter ... He came right in
front of half the court and Sacramento knew he was going to shoot, Luke Walton
screamed, the whole team defending him. Went out to try and he stepped out of
half the court. "I don't know about the 38-year-old footer, and he knocks
on the back," said Coach Steve Kerr. "It's incredible. I don't know
what to say."
Harrison Barnes
played 23 points and seven rebounds against his predecessor, and Buddy Held led
the Cuddles with 25 runs, winning four of five in the series.
Golden State beat the
Kings 137-106 at the Chase Center on January 4 but lost four of seven of the
seven matches at home.
Sacramento Center
Homes returned with a right hamstring absence from five right games and
returned 11 points and five rebounds.
"We had our
chances. We missed some free throws. We had something we could have scored, but
overall our team played a good game tonight," Walton said.
Toggle on Thompson
Kelly Thompson is
about to start running again as she recovers from a torn right Achilles tendon
surgery. He has been working at home with Warriors Director of Sports Medicine
and Performance Rick Celebrini since his recent road trip.
Kerr spoke to Curry's
injured Splash Brothers halfway through Friday's game against Nougat, who
returned to the chess center with fans. Kerr found it particularly difficult
for Thomson to want to get out on the floor so badly.
Thompson looked
emotional on the sidelines for a moment and Curry could be seen talking to him.

game in the first 12 minutes. Green picked up a fan 3:26 before halftime. ...

Last spring, Curry
placed ICU nurse Shelby Delaney and her colleagues at Auckland's Alta Bates
Summit Medical Center after learning a face-time video call to inspire them to
go through each trial day of the epidemic. Wearing the number 30 jersey under
your cleaning.
Delaney then put on a
uniform - "I Can I All Things" inside - as she and her husband,
Robert Crowley, sat on the floor for the game on Sunday, unable to attend after
a season of ticket holders.
"It really
helped a lot of people, like other nurses, like other staff members, everyone
was very happy with it," Delaney twice shared in the call with MVP.
"People told me, they really said that which helped inspire a lot of
people around here."
Curry took off his
sports uniform on Sunday night signed it and gave it to Delaney.
